Sports Immortals has a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation:

Donations made to the Platt Sports Foundation are tax-deductible and will assist in the development of the Sports Immortals International Hall of Fame.

Athletes and individuals can contribute sports memorabilia to the Sports Immortals Foundation and receive a tax deduction.
